Why Does My Concrete Have These Issues?

Well, for starters, concrete is very heavy. And the soil that the concrete on isn’t able to support all of that weight. Over time, the soil gets compacted/pushed down and provides less support for the concrete. When this happens, the concrete is bound to sink.

Washout is another major factor that can cause these issues. Washout is caused when water finds a way under your concrete, or around it. As water gnaws away at the soil and support under and around the concrete, it causes deep holes (sinkholes) and crevices. Once developed, the ground is no longer a support and the concrete sinks.
